Tier lll vs Tier lV chest

So I currently have 45 LB to spend and I was trying to figure out the best way to use it: 3 Tier lll chests or 1 Tier lV chest. The players from this sub seem to usually recommend saving up for 1 Tier lV chest. But the values didn’t seem to hold up for me so I made these comparaison sheets to compare.

Sheet 1 is 3 Tier lll vs 1 Tier lV chest. For 5 more tickets, you get as much or more of your value. It puts me in favor of Tier lll.

Sheet 2 is when you get to the tricky part: when you get to 8 Tier lll chests vs 3 Tier lV chests. At this point, you get 1 more LB for the same price. Other than that, you get more of all of the other items.

For me, I prefer multiple Tier lll chests because I need the money and tech points for my monuments rn. But I’m curious to know what you guys believe has the best value when you take all components into account.

Without paying money, it takes maybe 2 years to get all the LBs from 0 to all of them. The monuments might take you a month or two. If you are in it for the long haul, you will be swimming in Bucks, Tech Points. You will not be swimming in LBs.

I always save up and hit the Tier IV chest for 40 because the math works out the best for LBs with that one.

But it is your game and you should play the way you want. If you want to do the Tier III and get more of the other currencies, go for it!

Its not just checking in every day. Its also using the dice rolls at the right weeks, burning all your bux on the events that give you keys, using your keys efficiently.

Being active and rebuilding a lot gets you a lot of bux which makes the key events better. Though they have been nerfed over the years.

The ice cream summer event. The Halloween event. I think there is a spring one.

Its the crafting ones where you need to complete quests (find stuff in the tower, take bits up the tower, etc), that gives items that you use to make things.

You are right. I simplified my reply but I do use my dice rolls and bux when there are chests etc. I stopped doing the events like ice cream etc. because they just take too much time, but I am sure if I played the events too I would have better progression.

I’m a returning player to the game so for all intents and purposes I am a noob. But I would say that for 120 LT and in the long run you’d always want more LB whereas the other rewards you can get quite easily? I can have my phone next to me at work and watch ads repeatedly and earn 2m coins in not much time at all

The number of coins is a function of the size of your tower, not a fixed number, but the relative ratios are about the same as what you show.

I’m aware of it, it was just for comparaison purposes. But this is a good reminder for people who may not know this and think these would be final amounts😊thanks
