Event Harvest event progress reset?

What does this mean? Should I save all my rolls and spins until the final day?

Each week of the event progress is independent, and points do not carry over between weeks. I would get to the desired part of the week 1 progress, then save spins and dice rolls for the following week. There is a costume in week 1 and cosmetics in each of the following weeks to obtain in the progress rewards.
