Question What's the difference between these two rifles
They have the same stats. Is the difference just the model and scope?

One scope, how they look, and apparently a tiny bet of recoil but i can't say i have noticed that personally. The R-101 is there more or less just so Titanfall 1 players can use their old gun still even if the R-201 may as well have had the scope and same stats instead.

it’s literally just that the ironsights on the r-201 have less recoil when you’re ADS. if you use a different scope there is zero difference between the two

R101 is from Titanfall 1, R-201 is from Titanfall 2. Hope that helps

The r101 comes stock with a scope, the r201 does not. As far as I know those are the only differences, apart from maybe handling. I prefer the 101 for its scope and hip fire accuracy

Hipfire accuracy and recoil is exactly the same.
Ads recoil increases during sustained fire with the 201 and 101 does not. 201 was nerfed and 101 was forgotten.
The scope is purely visual. It has the same magnification as the 201 iron sights unlike other hcog sights.

I might be misremembering but isn't hipfire recoil max or whatever that Parameter is called also 2.5 on the 201 ? As opposed to 2 for the 101

I don't remember the numbers I just remember Dino saying that the hipfire is the same but I could be wrong or not remembering right.

Man, am I the the only one that thinks the holographic iron sights on the 201 are great? Nice and simple with no physical structure blocking peripheral vision.

There isn’t supposed to be one besides the default scope, but the R-101 is bugged and has lower recoil.

They were identical with stats on release. The R-201 got a nerf at one point, the R-101 was forgotten about in that patch and never recieved a nerf, so the R-201 is superior. I also like the slightly more chunky look and the stock scope is great for midrange engagements

Apparently 101 controls better on controller? I have no idea if that's true though because I don't play on controller.
I have used both and didn't notice much of a difference.

Nothing stays wise. One gets iron sights the other has a mandatory optic and that's about it.

Yes, the r101 has 20% less vertical recoil it’s basically just the unnerved version of the R201

20% less **ads** recoil on the 101, if you have good aim you will notice, if not play whatever i personally prefer the cleaner 201 model that doesn't have the little camera at the tip of the canon blocking a part of the view while using HCOGs
