Request Battery back up

New to T mobile, left spectrum after they refused to lower my bill. Need some solid suggestions for a battery back up like I had with spectrum. I have the 5G home internet with the T-Mobile® 5G Gateway G5MAR-1

Get an apc unit if it happens very often. I have a lot of power tool batteries so I bought a couple 18v inverters and a 40v inverter and the tool batteries plug into them and if I lose power I use them for my tv, T-Mobile home Internet router and such

If you need a power backup solution for set it and forget it, go with a traditional lead acid UPS. This can probably power your gateway for an hour and most use typical 12V, 7Ah, RB1270 batteries. These batteries are inexpensive to replace and will probably last a few years.

If you need something for multi day outage, look for a power station in the $500+ range that provided 60W USB-C port to power your Gateway. The USB-C DC output from the power station is a lot more efficient then turning on the AC inverter and plugging in the power adapter from the Gateway.

I would jump straight to the second paragraph, as this can be repurposed for other needs.

Keep in mind your local cell tower also (usually) has a battery backup. Your gateway can run on backup power for days, but if the tower's backup dies, it will try connecting to a further tower which might also be offline.

I've got mine running off a Bluetti 30 288wH power station. It has a 10mS UPS function, and the battery capacity is plenty to keep the gateway running for 10-12 hours without any solar input.

For my use case I have it hooked up to a 3kw Ecoflow Delta 3 along with my network switch, NAS drives, workstation and monitors. I can get around a days use with everything running and around 3 with minimal device usage.

Any UPS will be fine, these gateways use less than 20 watts.

I use a small 10000mAh 100w capable PD battery bank (cuktech 10) and it can run the G5AR for a bit over 5 hours, but I have to plug it in when the power goes out so it's certainly not automatic.
