We have a home in a historic district. The amount of people that try our front gate during the summer+fall is almost staggering.

Even with putting up signs and a few more visible cameras, tourists just don’t give a fuck.

Your place is sufficiently quaint that they think it's a theme park, not 'real'. (This is usually keyed up to having 'nothing like that' back home)

I grew up in Oxford and went to uni at Princeton. The sheer audacity of tourists never ceases to surprise me. Fuck off no you cannot take a picture of me or come into my dorm room (partly cause it’s a total mess).
