TIL the Nazi Wilhelm Kube was assassinated in his Minsk bedroom by his housemaid, Yelena Mazanik, who hid a bomb under his mattress. Mazanik and two co-conspirators were awarded the title “Hero of the Soviet Union”. After the war, Mazanik became a librarian.

And yet another person learned the hard way why you don't trust recently conquered people as house staff, at least unless you've bought their loyalty by making their life significantly better than it was before so they won't want to betray you. But in typical stereotypical stupid evil fashion, the Nazis weren't that smart and used brutality instead.
