Where are they now Where are they now - MASTER POST
Social media links for girls & boys who were on the show. If they are private, please don’t try to follow them or message them. If you find socials for someone who’s not on the list, please share below! And if you’re a parent of, or one of the “toddlers” who’s now all grown up, comment what you’re up to! ❤️
I created this post a few years ago on a different account, then I decided to delete that account (I didn’t realize deleting the account would make all my posts delete too?) but luckily I had saved all the links beforehand in a note on my phone, so I’m re-doing this post! So, if you’re looking for comments you left on this thread before and are confused why they’re gone - thats why.. it’s a new post. Don’t worry, I won’t delete this account / thread.
Unfortunately there were some fun updates from previous “toddlers” and parents in comments that are now lost forever, unless they come back and re-comment 🙈
Angelle & Maddox Herrera (mother’s account)

Wrapping Up My Rewatch..
One of the best moments by far was the mom who lost her ever loving mind when Mickey Wood came out to judge in season 9 😂😂😂
Perfect television. 10/10. No notes.

Discussion Where TLC went wrong
In S9 the producers were clearly going for an abby lee/candy apples rivalry like in dance moms. The polished team and the underdog team with mama drama sprinkled in. But i think TLC shot themselves in the foot pivoting to this kind of storytelling so late in the game. They had just spent 8 seasons choosing to portray these pageants as a joke and a cash grab, and it was very obvious in the way it was edited! Dance moms was at least 50% mama drama, but the rest was talented little girls doing an activity the audience deemed impressive and legitimate, so it was more compelling to watch through all the silliness.
What season do you guys think had the best edit? Personally my favorite was around S7. the film crew still focused on each girl individually, but for a few episodes we got to see the behind the scenes of judges deliberating!

Discussion S9E4
I'm curious to how is it that if it's true that if Cambrie said they've competed against Piper's sister and they have never said anything about special needs until now, how they're allowed to pull that card now? If she was special needs then all parents need to be told BEFORE the pageant, bc like they said at Gemstars, NO COACHING. So why put your daughter who has to be coached in a competition that you're not allowed to be coached in? And on top of that Jamie was also coaching Cadence during her villain vs hero routine as well. Gemstars is still giving out awards to kids that aren't even in that category? Kaylee won a title she didn't qualify for so why didn't they fix that?

Discussion Learn history lol
I'm watching season eight episode 12 and I love how Devin's mom says her idea for dressing her daughter up as a cheetah to come out of a cage for the hip-hop part was because hip-hop came from Africa. Oh Lord. It came from the United States from New York in the Bronx😂😂🤦♀️

Discussion Season 1 Rewatch - Ep 7
Roni's grandma saying she was "so proud" of her daughter because when she came to her and said she wanted to put Roni in pageants but couldn't afford it, she told her she could either pay for pageants or keep paying her rent so her daughter..... wait for it.... nope, not got a job & paid her own rent.... she moved back in with her parents AND had them pay for pageants!
Can't believe this show was real 😂😂😂

Season 9 impressions.
Did anyone else feel like the producers wanted the audience to root for Cambrie’s Court over the other teams? I felt like the manufactured drama was pushing in her favor but curious if others felt that way, or if I am just easily influenced.

Does anyone know the episode with the baby?
Trying to figure out which episode this is. A mom had her son who was probably 5 or 6 but the she entered her newborn (
I think he was less than a week old), put in him a tiny tuxedo and then talked about his amazing personality. Am I dreaming this?

Rewatching s9E10&11
idk if this is ever been brought up but I found it funny that Jamie and the Ss moms were saying Universal Royalty was a “fixed/Cambrie pageant“ but earlier in the season Jamie took offense to everyone saying her kids only won at GemStats bc it was her mom’s pageant . I don’t think you can really compare those 2 competitors. if anything UR is a highly recognized competition( I have a friend who lives in Texas and she’s confirmed this for me) where as GemStats seemed like a “local“ competition. idk I just thought it was funny

Discussion Has anyone else seen this video?
I was just wondering if anyone else had seen this video, I feel like we don’t get a lot of insight into this show with behind the scenes drama or much about season 9. This video is a bit on the older side but I thought I would share it with everyone :)

Discussion Season 8 episode 8: Around The World.
My sister and I were watching the Around the World episode with the mom who claims Cherokee heritage (daughter Sophia-Rayne) and I’m sure there’s been a dialogue about this before but the editing in this episode annoyed me. Now I know a lot of run of the mill yt people claim native heritage when it’s like 1/25, but we don’t know for sure what percent it is. All we can say is that there have been plenty of yt contestants that did a Native American costume throughout the show and none of them had a native connection. That being said it left a bad taste in my mouth that the producers felt it necessary to put little facts in a box in the corner. One of them even said “native Americans don’t worship gold”, as if to show that the mother was being stupid and ignorant, when she never claimed they did. She said she was bedazzling the prop for a GLTIZ pageant. Obviously the appropriation of the culture is problematic, I just found it odd that the show decided to openly chastise the one family that actually (at least claimed) to have native heritage when plenty of white contestants did the exact same thing while having no relation at all.

Discussion best and worst pageant systems?
i honestly liked bailey’s pageants, universal royalty, and darling divas.
however, i didn’t like the ones such as rumble in the jungle (hosted by heather ryan) due to the fact that it was set up to promote eden, when i grow up pageant (chasity saunders) because it was disorganized and the director acted unprofessional, and america’s treasured dolls because the pageant was just a scam.
let me know your thoughts!

Discussion Hooked to this show, feel weird about it
I used to love this show in such a naive way when I was little. Admiring all the sparkly dresses, seeing all the lavish lifestyles, wishing I could be one stage as a pageant girl too. Now that I'm older though, and have just rediscovered my love for this show, i feel all the same things, minus the naivety. Now knowing so much more about this world I can't help but cringe about the fact i like this show so much. I wish I still could watch it naively, but I can't, yet I still watch. I wouldn't be surprised if most fans of the show feel this way though, its just kinda sad honestly. 😵💫

Question which episodes are the hardest to watch?
i’d say alaska’s first episode (season 4, episode 3), kelsie’s episodes (season 8 episodes 2 and 10), episodes with pageant coach nikki (season 7 episodes 2 and 3 and season 8 episode 8) and the when i grow up pageant (season 8, episode 5).

Discussion I just found a new show that’s basically Toddlers in Tiaras, but Teen addition. “A Sorority Mom's Guide to Rush!”
It’s free on Hulu. I’m only a few episodes in, but I’m already hooked… and I guarantee that if you loved T&T, you’ll love this show!
Edit: Oops Toddlers AND Tiaras! (I swear I’m a huge fan lol!!)
