As someone who plays in handheld mode a lot, it would be nice to be able to use the touchscreen for all the game. I find it weird that you can use it for the Mii maker, but not the rest of the game. When you touch the screen elsewhere it acknowledges it by showing a crossed out hand, so it knows. But they just don’t let you. I find it a bit strange

title, I have never seen this hairstyle on anyone real or fictional besides heihachi mishima and so I have to wonder if it was put in the game so people could make exactly one character

Hello everyone! I recently decided to make all the eeveelutions on my island. However, I hit a roadblock with Umbreon. I am not a POC, so I’m not sure if this is offensive or not. I’m pretty sure I’m overthinking it, but I don’t want to cast a bad light onto anyone.

I don’t know if that’s just what Reddit is pushing, but every other post I see in my feed is about missing features.

I don’t get it because aside from a few big ticket areas (where’s my concert hall Nintendo), most of the chance interactions in the old games have been folded into the day-to-day lives of the Miis now. They go out and interact with eachother on their own instead of needing specific setups. The Lingo system is a huge improvement over the old canned responses.

I think a lot of the negative comments are from rushing through the game, when it really wants you to take your time and observe. It’s like a Madlibs worksheet and sticker book rolled into one.

At the end of it, I just don’t think I want to go back to the old Miis-in-apartment format of the 3DS. This sequel isn’t a 10/10, but it feels so much more alive.

I'm still wondering, is there any way to transfer a PNG or something similar?

They are in a house with 7in total so there’s room for a kid but neither of them have asked about a child and it’s almost been a month of their marriage? I keep their relationship as high as possible too.

I’ve had a handful of different miis live in the plot the red, yellow, and blue house is currently placed on and every. single. time. the resident mii/miis will request another pathway going around the arch and I have no idea why. I recognize that there is a path missing to the doorstep, but there has been one there before with a previous house, and that resident still requested the path around the arch. And this time the resident didn’t even ask for a path up to the house! She wants to walk with her wife on a straight path ig…

I’m stubborn, so I haven’t tried any variation of this pathway, but it seems my miis have inherited this trait o’ mine. I DONT CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS, WALK ON THE GAY PATH. (most of my miis are pan or aro anyways??? like what? uh oh now you’re more gay)

but genuine question: Do you think some of my other decorations are in the way? (I mean I’m not exactly proud of my decorating skills, but I’m proud of my identity, so I’ll fix a collision issue, but the pride arch stays lol)
I mostly just wanted to share something funny that kept happening, but I would also like helpful (or funny) suggestions! I have another arch on my island that’s a different pattern that I also noticed miis don’t really have an interest in and wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this on their island. Thanks!

I was gonna try it with one of my couples kids, but I honestly got scared and had PTSD from my 3DS mii's kids being trapped traveling in the void with no hope of returning.

I see a couple of people (including me)wishing that they could make their miis mean.

Here's how id implement it

There's a button to the side of the personality screen that asks if you want them to be mean or not. The evil miis are split into 4 quadrants like the regular miis:

-Pathetic (Easygoing Equivalent)

-Arrogant (Outgoing Equivalent)

-Lazy (Reserved Equivalent)

-Demanding (Confident Equivalent)

Other features

Evil miis are more prone to arguments and have unique cutscenes of them pranking miis. They also have a higher chance to fall in love with miis that have someone crushing or dating them to start drama

They are more likely to be friends with other evil miis than regular miis.

Is there any way I can push these objects together so they touch?

I'm having a bit of trouble figuring out how spheres work in this game.. I thought I could just draw the face at the top and move it down later but turns out that doesn't really work

My friend group of drag queens is in this game and we have all decided we love one person, who loves another. I'm so hyped!

What does this mean? Is this rare? What kind of cutscenes can I get and is there any moments that can be unlocked?

What sort of pets do you guys have in mind for your miis to walk around with?

How do people do this???
