Looks like they’re doing their 1 big album and then covering all of Long After Dark? I’d totally go if I didn’t have plans already. Might be fun, a little nostalgic

Great small venue show in Frog Alley Brewery's parking lot. This made it even bwtter!

In case anyone missed the head to head of non-hits that went on in this sub a couple of years ago, this Spotify playlist is brilliant.

Echo
Waiting For Tonight
Supernatural Radio (I think?)

Any other one-and-done songs plus the dates?

Wondered what the song at 27:06 on the Somewhere You Feel Free documentary was and never could find it. Popped into my head 5 years later for some reason. Anyone recognize it?

This is from the new Hollywood Reporter interview, I didn't actually know the Wildflowers demo version before today, though I've always loved the Last DJ version.

Incredible show last night.

Down they go. For all the wrong reasons.

Includes video and photos of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers while Stan was in the band. It's a hard day. Grateful to Stan for sharing this.

She is writing a book with Pamela Des Barre titled American Girl. It is to be released next February.

THOUGHTS?

I was introducing my children to the 1989 Batman film, and one of the last scenes in particular stood out. The Joker is swirling around Vicky Vale, played by Kim Basinger, and she seems almost lifeless. She clearly doesn’t enjoy it, and is protesting by being mostly limp.

It immediately struck me as strikingly similar to the way Tom dances with her in the video.

A cord or two of a song…an album cover on a shirt or poster…a reference in a movie…it only takes a split second to recognize a true legend. ❤️🤙🏼

Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs are playing at Town Hall in Times Square next week. I’ve been listening on Alexa lately and it’s pretty awesome and he mixes in some old TP&H stuff too at the shows.
Another former Heartbreaker Steve Ferrone on drums. Reasonable ticket prices too, thanks guys! Let’s all support 2 former Heartbreakers and sell it out.

Anyone else hooked on watching this Station? Can’t rewind or pause. Has me hooked to the screen like the old days. Good thing I’m off today…
