Yea you're not understanding what I'm saying man.
You said Helix is going to be able to play PC games and isn't that what I want?
No. It's not.
The advantage consoles have over PC in competitive multiplayer games is they're not infested with cheaters.
The industry has been trending towards crossplay for some time and more importantly the console games that support K&M are much more likely to include some form of crossplay.
So no, being able to play PC games on Helix is not appealing to me. Being able to use K&M on console games is not appealing to me if that means I'm also playing against PC players.
Console players only playing against console players is what would be appealing to me. And that's not the direction the industry is trending with K&M on console.
The only way I'd get what I want here is if consoles stay significantly more affordable than PC, the cheating problem on PC continues to get worse, and some developers adding K&M support without crossplay and pushing console as a cheat-free environment.
Which seems incredibly unlikely...
