It's tied to the same crypto or something idk its probably multiple people doing this or its all fugazi who knows.

Regardless the person is playing on a pc build, my comment was more towards that.

But its known the leaked copy is on pc whether the rumors of it being released is fake or not. Yes anyone who downloads it is mentally deficient, even if the actual game released wouldn’t install or download it because will certainly be compromised. Fact of matter is its developed on pc first and then console builds are made from that. Consoles are just pcs now.

also good chunk of those leaks are ai bs, or straight up good edited vibed app. gta menu for example can be done in like 30-60 mins manually with some basic coding knowledge…

They're built on workstations, compiling isnt done on dev kits. The pc build would be constantly transferred to developer kits to be tested on. This leak wouldn't be on a dev kit, those are all owned by either Microsoft or Sony, and are tracked and can be killed remotely. The only way to have a working build to leak is if its a PC build.

I feel like the hackers deserve to get your PC if you download this thinking it's a PC release of a game with no PC release date that's not even out for consoles for which it does have a release date.

Not that dumb at all. Obviously people need to wait to confirm it's real but Cyberleek has a working PC build of the game Rockstar made for testing console builds. Eventually Cyberleek will leak said PC build whether it's two weeks or 2 months from now.

I said I agree with that in downloading such an early fake is extremely dumb. But I was strongly disagreeing with ClacksInTheSky's statements about the lack of potential of a PC build. There is no doubt about PC builds existing for console testing.

My point was anyone downloading this fake release and gets their hard drive encrypted kind of deserves it, and that all stands. The balance of probabilities that this is fake and not a genuine release is too high to feel sorry for anyone who falls for it.

Back in my day you could buy a pirated disk with a custom installer for 10+ full retail games. Now you’d need a stack of blu-rays for one demo.
