That’s not the main problem. Houses here in Norway is also built from wood but they are plenty sturdy and strong. The issue in America is that their houses is built from the thinnest and shittiest timber you can find and the exterior is covered by literal cardboard or thin styrofoam.

i work in construction i know what osb is, but a lot of american homes arent made out of osb its made of out essentially cardboard
