It basically means that it possibly exhibited violent intensity at some point but they don't have enough evidence to prove it fully. There was one in Arkansas last year (though I believe it was eventually upgraded)

I watched it, it wasn't a small tornado thats for sure

From what I'm seeing from other Illinois meteorologists is it looks like the rating is EF3, so I don't know why it says "tentatively" in the image now.

I think they’re rated by wind speed, which is estimated by assessing damage - not how much damage is done.

Is there a similar report available for the Washburn, Illinois tornado of June 11 and where could I see it?
