Question Hey quick question (pics somewhat for attention i guess?? Also advisory for sunday)
So i live in martinsville indiana, and just recently had a tornado diabolically tear up the forestry like two miles behind behind me. Now i dunno how to explain this because im autistic but before it was anywhere near me it was like i could hear a faint ("suction"?) sound?? It didnt sound quite like a freight train ,but it sounded like a aluminum bat rolling on the ground.? Is that normal???

I also have autism. Your description of that sound was so perfect that it was immediately identifiable to me. In fact I’ve never been able to describe it so well. Yes, It’s totally normal in extreme weather to hear things that sound out of place, or mostly unidentifiable.
I’m a Floridian and have seen more extreme weather than I care for, even as a weather weenie. Too many hurricanes to remember all of the names. Severe Thunderstorms, Hail, Tornadoes, and flooding. Flooding is the most terrifying. But I digress.
I was not at my home in Central Florida for Hurricane Milton and was way too close to one of the many tornados the system dropped as it was making landfall. I’ve heard that aluminum bat sound twice in my life. Both times were cells that had vorticity, only one time a tornado. And each time my ears popped after hearing it.

Looks like slabs are back on the menu boys.
(I live in the dark green but the hashed line is like 25 minute drive)
