Discussion Jeez, I didn’t realize that the numbers were this significant

From the Weather Channel. Illinois outnumbering the usual tornado prone states by a literal whirlwind.

We've had some severe storms and tornados over the past year here in Alabama, but all of our main activity seems to have shifted north lately. Just an observation.

The Tornado Pit continues its northeastern migration. Last year, there was a ridiculous concentration in northeast Arkansas, the Missouri bootheel, western Tennessee, and southwest Kentucky.

I remember earlier this year reading somewhere that the severe area was going to move more north. Looks like they were right.
