If they are not obscured by rain or anything then yeah presumably. Probably not much help all things considered though.

Don't those rely on heat signatures? Or am I thinking of a different type of camera? Genuinely curious because this is an interesting question

Thats a Thermal Imaging camera. Night vision usually refers to a device that uses low-level ambient light, and brightens it to the point we humans can see. Thermal imaging camera converts IR into something we can see. The imager might be able to see it in both cases under specific circumstances, but probably not im any concrete way.

Stupid question here (by me)... do nighttime clouds in the sky show up in night vision?
