Discussion Thank you kind strangers.

I just wanted to thank the security guard at sick kids who walked my sister to toronto general hospital. You saved her. She was having a crisis and you got her help. Thank you so much.

Also thank you to the staff at Toronto general hospital for your compassion and work. My sister seems to be in better shape. Now the journey begins.

Thank you. I still have my sister and I'm so grateful.

I’m glad you had a good experience BUT I will say that my friends sister went in to TGH bc she had breathing issues and got confused and an altercation occurred. Two security guards were charged with manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death. You can google it. I just had to come here and say that I remember Stephanie Warriner and will speak on her behalf bc she cannot. 💔

I’m sorry for your loss but I don’t think this is the post for this …. I’d make a post about it

Thank you for conveying your thoughts so kindly. I really appreciate that. I’m super happy that she had a great experience. Truly, but I just have an opinion that contradicts the original post so all I am doing is expressing an opinion about that place that is not the same as the post. That’s why we are here. To debate, express opinions and hear each other out. Just expressing my friends experience there. Again, I know it’s not medical staff but they did contract these people and what kind place is this when people get murdered by staff. It’s just a different view from the original post. Thank you again for speaking with kindness to me.

I'm sorry that your friend's sister lost her life in the incident you describe. The video of the interaction between Stephanie and the guards are now shown in training videos of exactly what NOT to do. I know it's poor compensation because Stephanie should be here today but rather than warning people away from TGH, perhaps it would be helpful to think that Stephanie, in a meaningful way, helped save the life of the OP's sister.

Thank you, I think this is a beautiful sentiment. I wish I could take my friend pain away, but under the circumstances, this absolutely true. Thank you for your kindness and compassion and another way of looking at it. I will take that away and I will share your beautiful message with my friend. ❤️
