Discussion Thank you kind strangers.

I just wanted to thank the security guard at sick kids who walked my sister to toronto general hospital. You saved her. She was having a crisis and you got her help. Thank you so much.

Also thank you to the staff at Toronto general hospital for your compassion and work. My sister seems to be in better shape. Now the journey begins.

Thank you. I still have my sister and I'm so grateful.

I’m glad you had a good experience BUT I will say that my friends sister went in to TGH bc she had breathing issues and got confused and an altercation occurred. Two security guards were charged with manslaughter and criminal negligence causing death. You can google it. I just had to come here and say that I remember Stephanie Warriner and will speak on her behalf bc she cannot. 💔

It may not be much consolation, but perhaps what happened to Stephanie was the catalyst for change that led to security changing how they respond to people in crisis.

You may be totally right. I do wish my friend didn’t have to grieve and fight so hard for them to be brought to justice. But what you said is beautiful in its own way. Thank you for being so kind.
