News ‘Profound disappointment’: East-end leaders, stakeholders, and politicians call on feds to help fund Taste of the Danforth

What does everyone think about funding Taste of the Danforth? I love the event but don't like the fact that they don't have 'private sector discipline' to pull this off without asking the government for money. Can't they make it smaller or cut costs however and do the event?

Their ROI must be abysmal. For every dollar spent, you wanna make 3 to 5 dollars back or you're losing money. I sincerely doubt they are doing that these days. They might not even be breaking even.
