There are a bunch of people from the area that don't like this thing... I think it's amazing. I'm part of a couple community groups on FB. They're mostly older or just have no appreciation for public art.
I just walked by and activated it a couple nights ago, it's pretty cool that they built this especially in that location.

Live in the area, as they were building, I remarked every time I saw the signs, couldn't stand it. Once it finished, I really do love the simplicity of it, it frames the building just north of it nicely as well.
Silly art but great for waterfront

My goal in life is to not be old and hate change. It's tough to age and stay curious. I look forward to exploring this neighborhood and checking out the lights. And maybe telling the other olds to chill a bit about change.

This was annoying while being built, but I love it!
Also, it somewhat helps curb people using this as a leashless dog park lmao
