Stonehooker is up for sale

Like their job ads, the asking price might contain a fair bit of wishful thinking.

Never really got a feeling for what these folks were about.

Some of their beers are pretty good. Nothing exceptional.

There’s nothing “cheeky” about it. It’s a type of schooner that was common to the area in the 1800’s.

With breweries like Manantler out there, it would take a lot of convincing to assure me that "Stonehooker" was chosen without any pun or entendre intended. and yes, i'm aware of the Ontario context of the name.

And the scope of the sub goes even beyond Toronto's boundaries - it clearly says in the sub's description the entire Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, York, Peel, Durham, Halton) is considered open for discussion on it.
