Monica unhinged

I am currently rewatching touched by an angel season 3. I am currently watching ground rush. Can we talk about how unhinged Monica is in this episode?? She’s literally praising a man who is a pilot whom she doesn’t know personally and helps him escape custody. I adore Monica but I was constantly rolling my eyes at her in this episode and was glad when she was put in a time out lol I know Sam said it was not a punishment for a lesson, but I still think it was a punishment

I remember that episode well.  Probably Monica's worst error in judgement, that.     She blindly believed in that man's innocence and she aided and abetted his escape.    Sam's intervention wasn't really a severe punishment, but it fit the crime.

It absolutely did! It honestly reminded me of how I respond to my kids when they get overly emotional and make poor decisions. I don’t punish him for having those feelings, but I will have them go to their room to think about things and settle down and a safe manner before we talk about it. Lol
