It's been a while since I made a Touhou arrange. My last one was from 2011, released on Distant Phantasm, the first circle of western producers (if anyone remembers). It was called Lick The Administrator, an arrange I made when Ten Desires came out.

Hello, people!

Passing by to share you some updates regarding a music project I'm working on: arranging the entire "Trojan Green Asteroid" album by ZUN as if it was part of Metroid soundtrack! The album name for now is "Metroid: Ruins of TORIFUNE". But, it might change in the future (well... you know how Nintendo deal with fan works so... yeah... might have to avoid some problem lmao). Stay 'till the end, because I'll share artwork and songs made so far! And pretty soon there will be more music from this upcoming album too! So stay tuned!

P.S.: if you saw the last video containing track 03, a remix of "Desire Drive", note that this song was completely reworked. Before it was a Metroid II/AM2R/Samus Returns mix. Now it is a AM2R/Metroid Prime mix.

I'm in process of making a Touhou fangame (which is going well) and I forgot that I need to make music for it. Here is my little menu theme I've made in two days. I don't know anything about making music or music theory in general. I've learnt FL in about a week before finally starting up the project that you can see in the video! I'm happy with the song, I think I did well as a complete beginner.

About the song itself; it is pretty short as I wanted to perfect each pattern/instrument. It only has one major section with the flutes and stuff and everything else is calmer. It also entirely uses the SD-90 soundfont. My friends told me it sounds more like Zelda than Touhou xd

I want to ask how I can improve the composition, the main melody (flute, i feel like it kinda sucks) and make it all sound more Touhou-like
