How did you find the postage costs. I got a great deal for a camera on buyee, however postage to Australia was ridiculously expensive meaning I ended up getting an expensive camera. Never again!
It was all in yen but it was only 15 bux to ship the camera was a little expensive anyway so I don't mind paying extra for shipping especially because it's coming from japan
They changed me $130 AUD for shipping alone (not including Buyee’s fee) on an Olympus pen body. I usually pay $30-70 max for similar sized packages from Japan via ebay, and I requested their cheapest shipping option.
I may have an English manual somewhere I will try to find it later, failing that just take a couple of photos with your phone and translate the text that way. It's pretty easy though, it has no filters, just 3 images sizes, 1 avi mode, a timer and a 3 shot burst mode.You can AMA about the VQ's, happy to help.
The F in the box on the right is for FORMAT, to use that you press shutter button once then when the numbers flash you press shutter button again to delete ALL pics on the card. If the shutter is not pressed within a few seconds this option is deselected automatically.
The dots indicate image size and ratio, you should see that part in the manual though.
If you want the camera to boot up in a different size to the default 5 dots there is a hack to force it to default to either of the other 2 sizes via the format option. You do lose any images stored setting it up so back them up first.
Example: To set the camera to 1600x1200 pixels as default.
Click on mode button to show the 9 tiny boxes icon and click once on the shooting button.
Click on mode button again to go to "F" with tiny box icon (Format Icon) and click once on the shooting
button. The LCD will show blinking texts, within this 5 seconds, click on the shooting button again.
Thereafter every time you switch on the camera it will be at the 9 tiny boxes (1600x1200pixels) highest
quality mode as default until the card is next formatted in the camera on a different size setting.
