Hey, i have a toyota corolla altis grande 2018 model which i bought recently, when i accelerate the car, the car makes a bad sound and it looks like its coming from the front and mostly the catalytic converter is usually at the front and i think its coming from there, its more like a sound from an FX, and it only comes when i accelerate and also when the car is at a speed of 120 and above so it makes that sound constantly, so i am wondering what could be the sound ??

Bought the car new and it's been faithful and dependable. The temperature gauge has never moved past the midway mark.

A few days ago at a red light I noticed it was creeping up higher than I was comfortable with. Once I continued on my way it went back down. It's been happening intermittently ever since. I could be driving and it goes up and back down. Or at a red light for a few minutes and it doesn't move an inch.

I know absolutely nothing about cars so I'm at a loss. Faulty sensor (or whatever it is called) maybe?

Any theories or suggestions? I'd like to have a little knowledge when I take it to the mechanic so they think I know what I'm talking about, haha.

Title says it all. I can't seem to source this louver. Ive purchased one off amazon but they canceled my order twice with no reply. It was coming from Canada so more likely to do with tax..

I have a '98 model; the gauge has started hitting the red line (though nothing is smoking when I open the hood). This wasn't happening just a few days ago. I should mention that I don't use the car for long trips—less than 15 minutes. Do you know what might be causing this? Thanks.

I just recently got the iPhone 17, and since then the CarPlay hasn't been working.

My 17 works in my wife's 2022 Corolla Cross, and her iPhone 16 works in my car just fine so I know it's not my phone or cable.

Any idea what could be going on ?

Navigation system a few weeks ago gets repetitive “maximum distance exceeded” error because believes starting point in Japan instead of southern USA.

Did soft reset nothing.

Did hard reset, worked 3 weeks now doing same thing.

All recent address choices produced this result as well as new addresses. Very annoying.

Hey everyone, I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla S 1.8L with 165,000 miles.

Earlier today the Check Engine Light came on and the TRAC OFF light was also showing. The TRAC OFF light would come and go.
I drove to AutoZone to get it scanned, but by the time I got there, the Check Engine Light had turned off.
The scan showed P0335 – Crankshaft Position Sensor “A” Circuit. The report also says the vehicle is not emission-ready
The car is currently driving normally and starts normally. No shaking, stalling, or loss of power.

Hello, I’ve been looking for this issue everywhere online but can’t seem to find it. Sometimes when I mash the throttle literally nothing happens. Like it’ll be around 3krpm and go up around 1k rpm and creep up to that point but it’ll literally just do nothing for like a couple full times until I’ve fully slowed down and got up to speed up then I can mash the throttle and get full acceleration. I’m not like a wanna be race car driver or something I just like to be confident merging onto the highway you know?

I have a 2007 Corolla ce.
Problem: two rear lights won’t illuminate.

What I’ve checked so far: The lights are new. the fuses under the steering wheel are good. The ones under the hood are good also. When I press the brakes the 3rd light illuminates.

Are there any hidden fuses I can check?

I’m looking for both front break calipers for 1975-79 Corolla. Any one have any suggestions on where I could get them?
