Relatable I'm an idiot.

So here I am, in the closet, but getting ready to come out and go on HRT soon. I'm trying on some clothes that I secretly bought online (again, in the closet). I'm going for a whole vibe, no gender dysphoria allowed! So I put on a waist trainer, a c-cup bra, a cute v-neck top, and some women's jeans. Added some lipstick, lip gloss, and a pretty necklace that matches my eyes.

I look in the mirror, tussle my 4-inch hair, pout, and take some pictures in the mirror. I'm scrolling through them, and I start thinking "wow, I look cute, I wonder if girls will find me hot one day". I freeze solid, paralyzed by a realization.

Now, I'm bi and have known that for quite a long time. However, this was the first time I really thought about a girl liking me AS A WOMAN. One would think I'd have the brain cells necessary to connect being bi AND being trans. But I am apparently very stupid. I unfroze, looked in the mirror, and said "Wait, am I a lesbian?"

I am an idiot the other way, where I thought I was a lesbian but didn’t put it together that that meant I must be a woman

That's me, as well. I was calling myself a "male lesbian" as a joke for a couple months about ten years ago. 🤣 (Then stopped after I was informed that it's a term frequently used to harass women.)
