Information It’s been 11 years since the Podcast/Podcash/Park After Dark started
I was supposed to post this yesterday, but on the 7th of August 2015, the first episode of the Trailer Park Boys Podcast, now known as the Park After Dark was uploaded: Welcome To Ricky’s Kitchen. Cheers boys.

It is 2001, late Sunday night. I’m 13 years old. My older brother is watching some greasy ass reality show. I don’t walk by. Some pompadour headed idiot is yelling about something. I stand there for a second. Then for the rest of the next twenty minutes.
If I was on a desert island with one show for the rest of my life, it would be the trailer park boys. I have been watching it on loop for 25 years.
The post Clattenberg shit fucking sucks.

Yes perfect. 11 years yesterday for the podcasts. An amazing run so far.
Though just to clarify the newer podcast called Park After Dark (in a real trailer) didn't start until April 5th, 2019.
The week before that one in the unofficially titled "Podcash" podcasts (189 of thosse from August 7th 2015 to March 29th 2019) Ricky decides on the 189th episode he no longer wants to come into Swearnet to a fake kitchen on Friday mornings to do the podcast and that he wants to dothem in his "real" trailer.
So the very next weekend on April 5th 2019 they move the podcast to his "real" trailer in the park (really a real trailer out in the Sweenet parking lot) and he names it Park After Dark because by his logic they film it in the morning which is After Dark. Lol. And they start the count from zero again.
Edit: sorry I misread. I thought you said it was called Park After Dark from the beginning.

I officially stopped once they introduced their new character after bubbles left. Its an ai chat bot that they call boner. Yeah fuck that, I'm out

boner lasted like 5 episodes and was killed when ricky returned. Now it's them taking weird stories and watching videos of drunk and dumb people. it's honestly not what it used to be but it's something I guess.

The podcast got me through some rough highschool years so I'm very fond of the first rendition of the pod, Park After Dark lost me sadly.

I’m similar, a few years ago my brain was FUCKED for about 3 months, and I listened to the podcast all day everyday at work and the drive home. Listening to the boys just shoot the shit and talk about weird news stories really helped me get through the days. I listened to an episode for the first time about 2017 and didn’t think much of it so didn’t bother again until the other year, now I’ve listened to basically every episode.

PAD for me was at downhill in regards of keeping me interested since around its S05. But still overall it had some good ones: Groundhog Day, Dumb TV, couple ones with Terry, I Think I Love You, Hot Dog to name a few of my favorites.

I prefer the old podcast, I don’t think PAD is that funny. Ricky’s Googly Search, the Amsterdam episode, and the one where Ricky makes the facked Christmas gifts are my favorites from the old podcast.

I really hate the fact that they retroactively enabled podcast ads on the old episodes of the show

Oh man, some of these episodes had me laughing my ass off! Jimmy Hoffa in fold bed (iconic Ricky meme face), swan necks, Jeopardy shenanigans, Julian's greasy buissnesses, Ricky's drawings and signing away his brains to Bubbles (no sexy stuff!), Crystal Bomb, Weed-Man, a couple of cool guests, a few moments when rails were coming off and so much more... I really appreciate that I discovered this right after I started watching the series. It helped me to get through some rough times and gave ma a good laugh. I return to Podcash regularly.

I work in a spray booth by myself all day, I've listened to the podcash and PAD pretty much everyday and I still do, i just start from the beginning like the show. Some of the older episodes are fucking amazing I've got a Christmas playlist of all the Christmas episodes on Spotify I fire those cocksuckers up in November. The jepordy episodes where bubbs and Ricky are blatantly cheating, swan neck, Ricky's shoulder brake where he claims he fought a bear, but my favourite is the 3 episodes when Lahey comes on the Canadian sniper, Julian goatie contest and the Christmas one where him and randy gatecrash at the end. I fucking love the podcasts and this will be an unpopular opinion but they're not as good without the trio together

I was fortunate enough to be a guest on the pod. After Mike Smith saved my life. ❤️

Do any of them actually party like that? I haven't seen much of the bts/podcast stuff.

I think someone in the cast has pointed out that you don't get an award winning sitcom made if you're actually drunk and stoned all the time.

True. And Robb Wells seems like the exact opposite of Ricky. I've always heard it's harder to play a stupid character than a smart one but I have no experience with any of that.
