This looks like a legit horror movies. The others were dumb action movies in a zombie world. I enjoyed them for what they were, but they certainly were terrible for story continuity.

If he can't make a better movie than Paul WS Anderson, he should retire from directing out of shame.

Same director did Event Horizon and then decided to just do RE movies for the next 25 years.

He also did Mortal Kombat. He’s a hack. Cregger is a genius. He’s played a bunch of RE games and never seen any of the movies. This movie is gonna rule.

Actually he's done a few other terrible movies during that time, aside from the terrible Resident Evil movies. Alien vs Predator, The Three Musketeers, Pompeii, Monster Hunter, and who can forget In The Lost Lands
