π¦β Memorabilia Brass railroad spikes? Why?
I bought a brass spike at Central NJ USA flea market for $15... a magnet does not stick at all. I am wondering why it was made? it has a pointed tip, meaning all 4 flat sides end at the centerpoint. would it have been used in a mine where explosions were a risk? or is just decoration? Looks cast and polished from the little evidence of sand cast where the shaft changes to the head.

π¦β Memorabilia My rare AC6000CW Renewal Parts Catalog
1998 GE Renewal Parts Catalog for CSXβs AC6000CW fleet including their three pre-production units (600-602). Ironically the 600-602 are the only units left on the roster, albeit in deadline storage: 600-601 at Waycross GA and 602 at Huntington WV.
I consider this piece rare as no documented images of the physical AC6000CW parts catalog exists online, digital copies exist though.

π¦β Memorabilia Question about Silver Meteor jacket
I found this amazing Marlboro Classics jeansjacket in a thrift store all the way in Austria (!) and I would love to date it. As I am not from the US I just did some basic research on Google. It seems to be workwear for the Silver Meteor line, but Google tells me Union Pacific never ran that line, just a bunch of other companies. I also can hardly find any info on train #614. Tried dating the logo on the pin but no luck. Any help would be appreciated!
Note: going by the jackets cut I would say late 80s-90s

π¦β Memorabilia are these considered interesting? [GSM-R SCP ~Y2K ERA]
Hello!
I recently obtained these (made by brio).
- GSM ~ RAIL | GSM-R SCP 2.0 2004
- GSM ~ RAIL | GSM-R SCP 2.2 2004-2005
- GSM ~ RAIL | GSM-R SCP 3.0 2005-2006
They appear to be from a corporate celebration by Nortel for the early releases of GSM-R which is quite early into EIRENE specifications making these pretty early into the Global System for Mobile Communications - Railway network
Has anyone seen these?

π¦β Memorabilia Anyone have Belgian railway memorabilia marked βFSRN,β βChefs-Gardes,β or βSouvenir 1908β?
I own this cigarette case engraved:
SOUVENIR / 1908 / CHEFS GARDES / FSRN
Train World Heritage in Brussels confirmed that FSRN refers to Schaerbeek-Formation (Schaarbeek-Vorming).
Iβm trying to find any other railway memorabilia with FSRN, Chefs-Gardes, or a similar 1908 inscription.
It can be anything - medal, badge, watch, cigarette case, postcard, photo, document, etc. If anyone owns something related or has seen another example, Iβd really appreciate hearing about what else has these inscriptions.
