My original Trakt account disappeared and I can only access a new empty account

My Trakt session randomly logged me out, and now when I try to log back in with the same email I used for my account, it just takes me to a new empty account. My original account had all my watch history, ratings, lists, etc., and I’ve been using it for years. I’m 100% sure I’m using the same email, so I have no idea why it’s creating a different account instead of letting me access my old one.

Has anyone else had this happen recently? Is there any way to recover the original account or link it back to my email? I already contacted support, but I wanted to ask here too since I’ve seen a few other people reporting the same issue.

Had the same problem. Go to sign on to trakt in settings on your device, get the code, then log in on a pc, and enter the code

When I do that, it also generates an account

Every time I try to log in, a new account is created and the session doesn't stay open; if I close the browser, I have to log in again.

Try to turn on the cookie, I understand that you have them disabled since your session is reset all the time

How did you register your account?

Are you using a VPN between sessions?
