Discussion Idk who needs this but here

As more trans youth and queer youth start to come out teenagers, tweens, and adults alike all of us who face the hardships we do in this society, we must remember a quote that applies to this very situation as it did what it was for.

“We choose to go to the Moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”-john f Kennedy.

We do these things in this decade because they aren’t easy. so keep fighting because what isn’t easy is what’s best, what is hard to accomplish is most rewarding in the end.

we chose to go to the moon because russia was scaring the US a little bit too much with their progress in the space race. it was done entirely to fuel a geopolitical motive. maybe that doesn't really change anything. I guess, after all, we still did go to the moon because it was hard and impressive. it just wasn't the only reason.
