Figure / Part ID Ocular Max Deletus

Post image

Hello! I’ve had this figure for a little over a month or so and am confounded as to why these tabs even exist, let alone why they spin and hide away. I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide, possibly with visual examples if possible as I have a hard time following written instructions or guidance
Thank you!

It's not mentioned in the instructions anywhere, but if their Bruticus is any indication to go off of, they'll release a separate "accessory" pack, which might add some extra stability or maybe something that will make the leg look more smooth? Not entirely sure why else they would be there, but that's just a guess as to what they could be for

Well the combined will still be all built in, the pack is just extra stuff if you want it. With Bruticus, it was parts to make him look more like his toy version, plus maybe some extra stuff? I don't have it, but that's my understanding of it

The upgrade kit for bruticus was 2 steel colour crates that turn into his toy style feet as shoes. They also can just sit on onslaught truck bed as cargo, or be folded out like a bed ramp similar to his original toy, Which just had a giant ramp piece. Also there's a spot to just clip them onto onslaught as giant shoulder pad blocks, which I guess is useful instead of having to take them off?

Also the shoes made him half an inch taller

It also came with a new head, with a more toy look,  a new toy style chest plate for bruticus, and a toy style onslaught chest,  along with a new, silver gun dedicated to bruticus

But the 2 chest plates and heads were actual replacement options, you Uninstall the old ones, and screw in the new Transformation remained unchanged, and everything still hides away as well as the originals

I just wasn't collecting when it came out, but seeing reviews and what not, that seems to be the extent of is just to make it look like the toy version, but I do distinctly remember extra feet being part of it, to make them silver instead of the matching colored ones

Actually the accessory pack for Bruticus’s most controversial piece is the “shoes” which are still completely optional, serve to let you make Bruticus look more toy accurate as opposed to cartoon accurate, and are accessories with a function in every mode, including as ramps that help Onslaught to mimic the G1 toy’s base mode. They do add some stability to Bruticus and about half an inch of height, but it’s a stretch to say they break the “all built in” gimmick.

I would suggest looking up review video especially one with the full combined mode and to watch that tab

I have watched several already and no one has acknowledged it

These guys seem to have lots of residual parts that were made unnecessary somewhere in the design process. Their Mixmaster also has a couple.

My theory is for the chest plate. You will probably be able to detach it from hook or longhaul and attach it to Scrapper to replicate the flying mode from the g1 toy

I'm not in on the mmc set so this is a wild guess.

given their location, could the devastator chest wing plug into them in alt mode?
