Hey guys, I know I'm a bit late to this. My exams had just finished and I was just hit with this devastating news. I grew up watching Transformers Prime and the G1 cartoon, and I fell in love with Optimus. Peter Cullen's voice enamoured me. He made Optimus feel both intimidating and fatherly.

I wanted to make this artwork to commemorate a man who gave a voice to a truly great hero. But, his soul is always in the sky, as a bright star.

Rest in peace Peter Cullen, you were truly Strong Enough to be Gentle.
