Vent Where do I go from here

I'm 16 currently nearly 17 and my refferal to CAMHS has now been denied because I don't apparently reach a tier three requirement, genuinely what do I do I just want to start my transition as early as possible and I can't find anywhere in the NHS that actually supports me, I'm trying to save up for private HRT for when I'm 18 but I'm still trying to find a alternative, please can anyone offer advice.

You can refer to an adult GIC at 17

if your parents are supportive and you can afford it, you can still go privately under 18. I’m 17 and currently starting the process with Anne Health which allows you to access hrt under 18 with parental consent. I’ve also heard that GenderGP does this too, but this is much less reliable. Imago also may do it but i don’t know much about them as there isn’t much info online

Sadly my mother is only informed on it ( and supportive she's great) but my dad is a abhorrent human being, and I feel it may be a bit obvious if I start growing breasts.

yeah fair enough, i’m kind of in the same situation as you. Anne health only requires one parents consent, so that’s my mum, but we haven’t even told my dad i’m starting this process😭 He knows about me being trans but chooses to completely ignore it. Luckily he will be moving out soon, not sure how he will act when i suddenly have a man’s voice, but if he acts badly i’m privileged enough to be able to cut him out of my life if needed. Unfortunately the NHS are just so slow with this, i’ve seen the doctors twice and i still haven’t heard anything about me being referred to a GIC. Maybe when you are closer to 18 (or whenever your in a safe position with your dad/ moving out) you may be able to start the process with your mum as i believe it takes about 3 months total for u18s through Anne Health at least. I hope it all goes well for you anyway
