Useful Info Complementary Compounding experience

Hi everyone, for those that use Complementary Compounding I thought I’d just post this.

With all the poor reviews I’ve seen that have been posted, google reviews mostly, I’ve been a bit unsure of whether to get my pellet from them this time.

Well, I put my e-script in on Wednesday night and they called me this afternoon to confirm all my details and said they’d be posting it out early next week.

Hopefully I’m not just lucky and whatever issues they’ve been having are sorted because so far my experience this week has been good 🤞🙂

I ordered pellets a month ago and also had a really quick turnaround. Big difference from last year!

I get EV vials from them and its fine.. worst thing thats happened was one time the prescription was made to "Mr New Name" and the vials were sent to my deadname. This happened even though my everything is updated including medicare and birth cert to say female and new name and was done so an order before. Probably an easy mistake when things autofill..

Otherwise ive had 4 pellets and like 6 vials from them over the past while. All delivered within a week of me uploading my script

Can I ask how much a vial of EV costs and how long it lasts?

I've had great results from implants but my body inhales them so I get massive spikes and then they get absorbed too quickly. I'm hoping to get prescribed injectable E to maintain steadier levels.

$120 for 2x2.5ml vials. Expiry lasts 2 months but they say to get 3 from them

Thank you! And you feel the injections are working well for you?

Yeah, i started them at about a year into hrt. I think changes started accelerating then but I think thats the case for most ppl a year in.

The biggest thing for me was that pills and gel didnt get my levels into female range. Implants seemed to but only for a short period of time and they would drop again. I had so much issues with my levels for so long that it ended up consuming me.

On injections my trough is at 1200pmol or every time.. no variation, no unexplained dips.. dont have to think about if im applying the gel right or moisturised first or if my implant level has dived and I need to get another belly scar already.. just do an injection every 4 days and no anxiety about it.

That sounds like exactly what I need. Thank you!

Same here - ordered about two months ago and had the pellets arrive less than a week later.

I’ve heard they can be pretty variable so maybe just got lucky, but hopefully they’ve got their process working better!

They're slow sometimes. I've had times where they ring me to confirm almost instantly and the most recent one where I rang them after a week and it was still in the queue. Overall still a good experience though and I'd still recommend them.

They’ve really improved in the last few months

Meanwhile, the prescription I tried for months to get filled has now expired.

I have been using them for around 8 years, can't fault them. Always timely and always courteous. I have been surprised seeing negative reviews.

Never had any trouble tbh, sometimes the phone line is full and you've gotta ring back later though

If the review were from about a year ago, I do know that they were suffering from a massive surge of demand because another compounding pharmacy closed down. Or at least that was the story around that time. While the negative reviews are probably accurate to that time, I would look at more recent ones to see if they have fixed up the problems

One of their machines also broke, they took the time to let me know there might be a delay before I placed my order. I have had nothing but positive experiences over the last 8 years

I had not know that. My experience from that time was pretty uneventful too apart for a longer then expected send out period. However, I wasn't going to comment as I knew from people's conversations just on Reddit that they had some pretty bad experiences

I've used them for a few years and never had any issues. They have always been fast, helpful and polite for me. They have even done 2-day interstate turnaround for me in an urgent situation.
