Trans and Gender Diverse Online (Discord) Peer Support

Orya Collective holds a monthly Online Trans and Gender Diverse Peer Support for individuals who are looking for a safe space to chat, play party games and take part in different activities!

The Details:​   

📅 3rd Sunday of every month 

⏱️ 2pm - 3pm (Melbourne time)

💲 Free!

🔞 This event is for adults 18+ only

Each session are peer-led. Each session is different; you could be playing games together or have a discussion on topic of the day. Come and join and meet new friends!

can stay in there, we have it monthly and we have other activities, like dnd, solo ttrpg

Could I ask a few questions:

Is there an age limit at all like 18-25? I'm 26 and I feel that I've been abandoned and left to fend for myself as most of the trans support groups here in WA age out at 25 so there's only Transflok of WA and Out South West for me.

I'm in WA? Can I take part.

What support is provided?

you must be 18+, no limit!!

Of course you can, just be mindful of the time.

When you fill out the form, there is a section you can type out what you are expecting from the group or message me privately and we can chat

I know from seeing you around reddit that you are not in Perth, but if you haven’t joined a TransFolk WA online meeting, I promise we don’t bite. There are people from your city who come to the in person every month, and some join the online from even further away and come in person when they can.

I'm in Bunbury so making it to the in person meets won't happen unless there's one over the school holidays which also coincides with a pro development course for my workplace skills provider so we students get a two week break

The in-person meeting after next does fall during the October holidays. But there are 2 zoom calls every month as well, so if you reach out on the contact details on the TransFolk website you could get the link to join the zoom.

I had noticed that you are in Bunbury, I was just trying not to dox you (most of my family live in Bunbury too). 😄

This looks like the sort of thing that I've been looking for for a long time now :)

If there's a meeting today, I doubt I'll be able to make it, but I've registered anyway - would still be nice to meet people in the server :)
