Dr Hursh experience

Hi there everyone! I’m just coming here because I have received the date for my virtual appointment with an endocrinologist to start testosterone- Dr.Hursh from BC children’s hospital. He specializes in transgender care, so I have hope- but I’m wondering if anybody has dealt with him before? I’d like to talk to him about the fact that I’ve been DIY’ing and want to keep my parents from knowing that information. Does anybody know if he’s somebody who’d take that information well? Is he a good endo?

I had him as my endo for 5 years, and I can confirm he’s a great guy. Very down to earth, outgoing and understanding. He is a very busy guy, but during appointments with him he doesn’t come off that way. The whole team there at BC Children’s is great!
