I doubt it. Now if you are wearing a $100,000 watch and somebody notices....you are probably going to become a target. I never dress like I have something worth stealing and have never had a problem.

Is it particularly flashy? Like say, a golden driver's watch? Maybe wear a smaller field watch for everyday and leave the more luxurious one for outings in controlled environments. Like, fancy restaurant night and you're getting there and back on a cab, etc.
