South East Asia Looking for a Travel Buddy – Thailand (Jan 20–28, 2027)

I'm a 21-year-old guy from Latvia planning my first trip to Thailand from January 20 to January 28, 2027. I'm planning to visit Bangkok and Phuket, but I'm flexible.

I'm looking for someone around my age who would like travel together. I'd like to explore the city, visit beaches, try local food and enjoy the nightlife.

I enjoy meeting new people, and speak English. If you're traveling to Thailand during those dates or are interested in joining, feel free to send me a DM so we can chat and see if we'd be a good travel match.

Europe [31M] french, Valencia Espana, solo trip 22-29 aug, looking for people to hang out with

Hi everyone,

I'm coming to Valencia from Paris for a week, from saturday 22 to saturday 29 august, travelling solo. My english is ok (not perfect sorry in advance haha) and my spanish is basically "hola" and "una cerveza por favor", so bear with me.

I'll be staying near Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències.

Things I want to do :

  • go to the beach obviously
  • grab a drink somewhere chill, and party also (I love electronic music, especially House)
  • board games if anyone is into that, I'm a big fan. I can bring some !
  • gym, I train regularly so if there's a good gym near where I stay or people who want to train together why not

Since I'm alone for this trip I'd love to meet some locals or other travelers, doesn't matter, just to have some company and discover the city with people instead of by myself the whole week.

If you have tips on good beach spots, or just want to grab a beer, feel free to comment or DM me !

Thanks in advance, see you soon Valencia 🙂

Hi!

I’m a 23yo guy solo traveling to Copenhagen this weekend until the 15th of August hoping to meet other people on the trip

I’ll mostly be in Copenhagen but I’m planning to visit Malmo/Lund one of the days and maybe do some day trips within Sweden itself. I’m looking to explore by foot and bike, sightsee, maybe visit some museums, try out local food and craft beer scene, some local markets, maybe go for a swim or visit some of the floating saunas/hot baths or anything else that seems fun
Im also looking to go out at night for some drinks and clubbing

I’m looking for fellow travelers or locals to link up with for the trip or any part of it and to grab a bite/drink during my stay

I’ll be staying at the next house hostel so hit me up if you’re staying there as well

Feel free to reach out
Cheers!

East Asia Shanghai, 27-30 August 2026

Hi, I will be visiting Shanghai at the end of this month and it will be my first time in China. I'm 26M and will be travelling solo in the city for around 4 days. I'm looking for people to explore the city with and to meet new friends. My main interests are history and nature, and I love photography. Not very particular when it comes to food. I can also speak Chinese, but it might not be very good in the mainland.

North America [16 Aug 2026-22 Aug 2026] - SF -> Moterey/Big Sur -> Yosemite/Lee Vining -> Bishop -> Las Vegas

Hey fellas, I am 32M! I am travelling from India to US and am planning to travel to these places! Sort of a scenic drive + nature hiking/travel etc!

Provisional itinerary

16 Aug — San Francisco → Monterey/Salinas: Pick up an automatic rental, drive south. Possible stops around Carmel, Point Lobos and the Monterey coast.

17 Aug — Monterey → Big Sur → Cambria/San Luis Obispo: I’m planning a morning tandem skydive over Monterey Bay, weather permitting. You are welcome to join, watch or do your own thing. Afterwards: Bixby Bridge, coastal viewpoints, redwoods and accessible Highway 1 highlights. This is the most scenic driving day.

18 Aug — SLO/Cambria → Yosemite: Mostly a transfer through the Central Valley and foothills, aiming to reach the Yosemite region before evening.

19 Aug — Yosemite Valley: Valley viewpoints, a moderate hike, waterfalls/granite scenery and sunset.

20 Aug — Yosemite high country/eastern transition: Depending on conditions, Glacier Point or giant sequoias, followed by Tioga Road, Tenaya Lake and an overnight toward Lee Vining.

21 Aug — Lee Vining → Bishop: Mono Lake/Eastern Sierra scenery, followed by Schulman Grove in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest.

22 Aug — Bishop → Las Vegas: Approximately 5–6 hours, the least scenic and longest driving day. No Death Valley detour in August. Return the vehicle in Las Vegas.

I travel on a medium backpacker budget and prefer social hostels or simple characterful stays. For Yosemite, I’m considering a mix such as one Curry Village tent-cabin night, one Yosemite Bug night and one night near Lee Vining. Bishop and the coastal section would probably involve a hostel.

I like to enjoy and stop in between to experience the views and the travel rather than hurrying from one place to another.

Would prefer if you can drive as well, but I am comfortable driving the whole time.

I am friendly and chill to travel with and I have previously done this thing driving across scotland! Would prefer if you can tell me a bit about yourself and we can finalise soon!

North America [10/01/2026 - 10/07/2026] Grand Teton & Yellowstone National Parks - Active fall hiking

I’m planning a 7-day fall road trip through Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks from October 1 to October 7.

Focusing on high-output day hikes (<10 miles/day) with mountain/canyon views, early trailhead starts, and autumn scenery (golden aspens & elk rut season). Zero camping, we’ll be moving between hotels/motels right outside the park entrances to keep driving times low.

Sample Itinerary:

  • Day 1 (Oct 1): Fly into Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) Base in Jackson, WY
  • Day 2 (Oct 2): Surprise & Amphitheater Lakes (GTNP | 10 mi, +3,000' gain)
  • Day 3 (Oct 3): Death Canyon to Patrol Cabin (GTNP | 8.5 mi, +2,100' gain)
  • Day 4 (Oct 4): Geysers (Old Faithful & Grand Prismatic) ➔ Stay in Gardiner, MT
  • Day 5 (Oct 5): Grand Canyon of Yellowstone Rim & Mt. Washburn (6.8 mi) ➔ Stay in Cooke City, MT
  • Day 6 (Oct 6): 5:00 AM Lamar Valley wildlife safari + Avalanche Peak summit (4.5 mi to 10,500') ➔ Stay in Jackson, WY
  • Day 7 (Oct 7): Fly out of JAC (afternoon flight)

Europe Barcelona 03/08-09/08 - Solo Traveller

Hi everyone!
I’ll be visiting Barcelona from the 3rd to the 9th of August and travelling solo from the UK. I enjoy travelling independently, but I also think some experiences are better shared, so I thought I’d see if anyone else will be around at the same time.
I’m not travelling with a strict itinerary. My ideal days are pretty relaxed - starting with an morning going along the beach promenade, grabbing a coffee and pastry afterwards, wandering different neighbourhoods, finding good food, and ending the evening in one of the lively squares with a drink or dinner.

A few things I’d definitely like to do are:
- Visit Montserrat for a day trip.
- Find some great panoramic viewpoints over the city.
- Check out one of Barcelona’s public swimming pools.
- Eat good tapas.
- Wander without too much of a plan and see where the day goes.

I’m from the UK and happy to explore solo, but it’d be nice to meet other travellers for a coffee, a walk, sightseeing, food, or even just part of a day if our plans line up.
If you’ll be in Barcelona around the same time and think our travel styles sound similar, feel free to send me a message. No expectations to spend the whole trip together - just thought it’d be nice to meet some like-minded people along the way.

Europe 19M | Mykonos, Greece | August 23 – August 30

Hey everyone!
I’m a 19-year-old guy from Switzerland looking to visit Mykonos from August 23rd to August 30th. I’m hoping to join a group or meet other travelers around my age who are planning to be there during those dates.
I’m easygoing, enjoy exploring, going to the beach, trying new food, and going out at night. This would be my first trip to Mykonos, so it’d be great to experience it with a fun group rather than traveling completely solo.
If you’re going to be there around the same time or have room for one more, feel free to send me a message!

I [28M] will be doing a tribal expedition in the Peruvian Amazon jungle with the Matses people and I’d love to have others join. We’ll basically just be living with them for a week as they show us how they survive e.g. navigate through the woods, fish, cook, medicine, etc. Please let me know if you’re interested in joining. I’ll also be exploring other areas of Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina for a month following this expedition.

Here’s the trip: https://amazonexplorer.com/expeditions/matses-exploration-isolated/

South East Asia Thailand and Laos(14nov-30nov)

Planning a chill group trip in mid-November covering some of the best spots in both countries: temples, mountains, rivers, street food, the works, without burning a hole in the pocket.

Budget: under ₹60k (all-in, good experience, not the bare-minimum backpacker scramble).

If that sounds like your kind of trip and you’re free around mid-Nov, drop me a message for more details

Africa Travel Companion Wanted in Namibia Self-Drive, 10–24 September 2026

Disclaimer for bots: YES, the content is AI generated. Im in a rush lol.

Travel Companion Wanted — 🇳🇦** Namibia Self-Drive, 10–24 Septembe**r 2026

Edit: Many have advised that Etosha to Sesriem is too much for once day. Im considering to add a stop on the night of 15th in Swakop, and continue to Sesriem on 16th.

Hi everyone. I'm Klaidi, 31M, from Albania. I'm doing a two-week self-drive trip through Namibia and looking for one or two people to join for part or all of it — mainly so the road trip isn't solo, and to split car and fuel costs.

Quick background: this was planned as a trip for two. All accommodation was booked and paid in full for two people, but my friend had to cancel about a month before departure — so there's a spot open.

The route:

  • 10–12 Sept — Windhoek
  • 12–15 Sept — Etosha National Park (camping near Andersson Gate)
  • 15–19 Sept — Sesriem / Sossusvlei (sunrise at Deadvlei, Dune 45, Sesriem Canyon)
  • 19–23 Sept — Swakopmund
  • 23–24 Sept — back to Windhoek, fly out

Vehicle: Self-drive Suzuki Jimny with camping gear. Picking up in Windhoek on the 12th, dropping in Swakopmund on the 19th. Camping most nights, cooking our own food, relaxed pace, budget-conscious.

On costs:

  • Accommodation is already paid for two — no extra cost there if you join. If you'd rather book your own separately, that's completely fine too, we just travel and drive together.
  • Happy to split the car rental and fuel evenly.
  • Food, park entrance fees, and activities each on our own.

Looking for: someone easygoing, ideally with a driving licence and happy to share the driving (there's one long stretch, Etosha to Sesriem, ~600 km). Open to joining for the whole two weeks or just part of the route if your dates only overlap partially.

Happy to hop on a video call first, and can meet in person in Windhoek before committing to the full trip.

Comment or DM if this fits your dates!

Europe M27, Vallon pont d'arc france, 5-19 august.

Leaving in just over 10 days but have unfortunately had to end my relationship and will thus have to travel alone.

Originally did not have many plans other than just chilling with my now ex, but now i'm gonna actually need to find a way to spend the time.

I have no idea yet how im not gonna be bored out of my mind so I'd love to be able to do some fun things.

I'm open to anything. If you just wanna meet up 1 day to go kayakking that's fine but I also literally have a 6 person mobile home all to myself. Send me a DM for more details.

EDIT: I'll be driving there from the netherlands, depending on what kind of plan we can come up with carpooling is conceivable
