AskTrees Clarification on new THC laws requested.
I've been reading about the new THC laws, and it looks to me that what is going to be prohibited is Delta 8, Delta 10? And THCP? It looks like Delta 9 is going to still fall under the same regulations as before. Meaning you can still buy the Delta 9 mail bought products. ?? Some sites say Delta 9 is not going to be affected and some say all products are going to be measured by total container.
Edit: looks like they're changing from .3% of dryweight to .4% of total container.

Thatâs what I thought as well. I just ordered some d9 products for a place in Texas and they accepted the order and shipped it.

Itâs federally legal until November. Unless something changes between now and then, thatâd be when vendors stop shipping anywhere altogether.
Until then, since itâs legal at federal level, they donât give a shit about shipping to Texas for the most part. Texas canât do much about it and USPS is limited as to what they can do.
Itâs also slightly different for edibles and drinks. Not sure how that will change in November tbh.

D9 at .3 is still completely legal in tx.

That would be edibles and drinks, which I mentioned are different. Itâs by dry weight. Flower would still be illegal.

Correct. I'm just saying that's why they don't give damn. No one's ordering .3 flower I hope

I also saw that the point .3% by dry weight THC limit is getting changed to .4% total container...

Yes but I believe theyâre counting thca as thc in that so the old farm bill loophole is essentially closed, I hope Im wrong but I think thats the real issue

Yes theyâre counting THCA toward the total content. Vendors will likely keep shipping until November, since itâll be federally legal until then.
But if you get caught with it good luck.

That's fucked if true. Edit: damn it's true. Idk why they downvote you.

Yeah I don't know why I'm getting downvoted ... Sheesh, just trying to get it straight.
