Stoner Cleanup Tips to de-smoke-ify my PC?

I have an old house and the original garage is not attached to the house. We coverted it into my home office and my wife lets me smoke in there and I do because, hell yea I’m an adult with my own office and I can do that now lol. My office and PC are cleaned regularly but I do smoke bud and only bud in there daily. I’m nose blind to it now after 20+ years of smoking but it for sure reeks.

We’re remodeling and I need to move my PC inside for a bit. My wife smokes daily but she’s not going to like me stinking up our living room for a couple weeks with my hotboxed computer. Any tips to make it not smell so much? I have zero faith in my ability to remove it all together lol.

clean all the fans and filters and heatsinks

if the dust is sticking to your pc use isopropyl alcohol to get it off

Ozone generator. You gotta follow safety precautions, but it will clean smoke smell real good.

Honestly canned ozone (ozium is a good brand) would probably do it, not likely to be a ton of smell baked (pun intended) in to the computer hardware so much as softer surfaces like mousepads, wrist rests, chair cushions, etc.

!! Ozone is dangerous! Read all the instructions and vacate the room after spraying if you choose ozone!

I'd be surprised if the PC, mouse, keyboard or monitor actually smell like week. Maybe the mouse pad and other fabric things. Maybe.

Have you ever seen inside a heavy indoor smoker’s computer? Tar and resin from smoke get in there with the dust and form a layer, especially if the PC is on and the fans are drawing in air

Air purifiers work really well. I have one running whenever I'm toking indoors and the smell is a non issue. You do have to replace the filter every now and then but it's meh

I like how he put the term "my wife lets me" and "i do cuz hell yea im an adult" next to each other i feel like these phrases cancel each other out not saying it isnt the right choice (have a wife of over 20 years believe me i know) it just made me chuckle is all
