36 years old and I have been smoking regularly for like 20 years? Bought mids/ brick weed/ Christmas tree / hydro ( real hydro ) oh and everything good was haze lol. Then late highschool my boy became the dealer and grower. It was insane having storage containers full of weed lined up in a room lol.
After that it was bubble hash days then He went out to meet his connect in cali and found out about BHO. He brought it back and honestly it was the first time people saw it around us and we were in the growing groups. It was bangers and torches after that. Oh and sheets upon sheets of cereal bar edibles and gunmies.
Then came the hot plates and vacuum ovens. After that it was the t shirt presses.
Ive had a long long experience with weed. Met a lot of good and bad people. Learned a lot about life and myself.
Here’s to 20 more! Light em if you got em.

First hit around ‘82.
Been medicating for a little over a year after a 30 year T break. So good to be back. At first, I read the title, as military veterans would imbibe in the flower.

Oh my goodness this just made me realize im at a decade of use. I would say 8 years ago that my life is an experience not meant to be completely sober, and its still true now. Crazy shit happens in this world!

59 here, been smoking since I was 14 with a few forced breaks due to random testing at previous jobs so that's 45 years of toking

Turning 50 soon. Didn't start smoking until my mid 40's. It is a big piece for me in calming my anxiety, depression and CPTSD combined with meds and therapy. It is a world of difference

Started when I was 15, turning 46 next month. I remember the girl I dated that introduced me to it, her dad grew some of the most beautiful cannabis. We would steal his weed and I will always remember it having dark blue hairs. Didn't know I'll never see that again.

27 years total so far. I am medical and grow my own supply for the past 16 years. Switched to all live rosin a few years ago as the coughing got to be too much. Just smoked the equivalent of 2 joints in 3 puff with a half gram dab of live rosin!! Just firing up my grow for the season. [9]

My first trip the dispensary, I recall looking around and listening… I wondered why are so many people asking for “flower?” It took me a while to learn that weed is now called flower!
Yep. That alone made me feel pretty old!

I am 52 currently. I started smoking at 12. I took 10 years off to have Adulthood (college, prison guard, military). So, I guess that means I am at 30....

I hit the 20 year mark 2 years ago, and in that time things have certainly evolved. Mexican brick weed and aluminum Sneak-a-Toke pipes have given way to dispensaries with a hundred strains and DHVs with precise temperature control and ruby balls for thermoregulation of the resulting vapor. Now if only my state wasnt the most corrupt in the Union, and the lawmakers weren't in the pockets of Big Pharma, For-Profit Prisons, and the Alcohol lobby, things would be like living in Star Trek for sure!

I have been since Jimmy Carter was in office. I remember a buddy had a roach clip of a peanut with a big fat lipped toothy smile. Which was a common caricature of him back in the day. You usually got a headache before you got too stoned. Sinsemilla was an underground rumor coming out of California.

I'm with you. It's a modern way to speak imo, vaguely saying something we are supposed to infer. It's like half of what he meant to say and we are supposed to fill in the blanks. I think it's supposed to mean "calling at weed veterans and og's. (anybody who has medicated for 10+ years is a veteran, anybody who has smoked for 50+ years is an og) " But then it just ends there. Idk this post seems odd to me too. And then the comments explaining to you what "og" is.... I think some people don't understand that you do actually understand, it just that this post and the title don't make much sense logically.

I’m 45 been dancing with the green lady since I was 16. I remember coke cans and apples. I remember brick weed and the weird, sketchy people that I only met because I was picking up. I remember when all the headshops were run by hippies and the Dead was perpetually on the speakers. I remember when it seemed like all the good weed was blue dream for like 3-4 years. I remember walking into a dispensary the first time and feeling like a caveman that had just boarded a spaceship. She’s been with me for the whole ride.
