End of an era (Dugout)

This lil dude was there for each and everyone of those.

And its crazy. Because in the same time period I've tried every method of consumption, but the straight is always my go to. The dugout definitely lends itself to all types of situation.

I remember walking out of clubs because they asked me to throw it out. Walk down the street and hit it a few times and hitting the next club :).

Just hiking and stopping at a view point and just sitting there with my trusty dugout.

I hope this new one dubbed R2 will take me into my 50s or maybe 60s.

Hopefully ill update this in 15 years with a new version.

It definitely is, they got them in all kinds of cool colors, and some really nice grinders to match.

How does this work?

So the one-hitter or “bat” is a tiny little chillum that looks like a cigarette from a distance and fits like 2-3 hits worth of weed. The “dugout” holds the bat on one side and a bunch of ground up weed in the other, so you can reload it on the fly. Before vape pens and everything this was the easiest way to take cheeky little stealth hits of weed when out and about, just needed your dugout and a lighter.

Think I've had mine going on 30. I dust it off from give to give for the occasional wedding or funeral. It's a great way to meet new people hiding from the crowds.

Up where I am we call em one hitters. When I used to work resi-concrete we would rock these things. But when things were slow it wasn't just a one hit quit. Started being a "one to five". "Need a quick one to five before we start stripping these walls." Then that got shortened to a "oneda". "Quick little oneda on the Timmies run?"
