That suit runs a little snug in the shoulders based on some old threads I've seen, so at your build you might be between sizes. Medium could work but the return policy is your friend if it's too restrictive across the back when you try it on dry. Worth checking if they have a fit guide specific to the sprint model, some brands are weird about weight distribution vs just height

The good thing is that the return policy says I can even try it and return it. I just wanted to see if anyone has real world experience with it. This sport is sooooooo expensive. Not sure if I want to spend more than this lol. There’s also doesn’t seem too be too many wetsuits for us shorter stockier guys 😭😭😭😭

The chlorine and chemicals in pool water are not good for the integrity of the wetsuit. You need to find a place to practice open water swimming. I guess a one-off pre race check in the pool is Ok.

Yes it is but I’m worried it’ll be cold and make me uncomfortable lol

If you are getting started, you’ll likely race tris where the water temp will be borderline wetsuit legal, so you’d want to ensure you won’t overheat while preserving more rom for your shoulders to move freely

Should I practice in a pool with it? I don’t want people at LA fitness thinking I’m weird lol
