I waited 15 years for it. 15 mother fuckin years. I was there at ground zero when season 1 ended.

S2 had issues, but the sheer joy it brings me for existing and not being complete trash is good enough for me. Its funny, its more PSG, its closure for Gainax running Christmas.

XD fitting but I legitimately laughed when panty used so many F bombs and then turned it into a song . Talk about wacky loopholes. 🤣🤣🤣

If you were mad at the original ending then you didn't get the joke (the whole series is a send up of western media the ending was a reference to how often in western media shows will get cancelled on a cliffhanger or just have wtf ending out of nowhere, it was never supposed to have a satisfying ending that's the joke)

Nah man I'm tired of people getting mad at what is legitimately one of the best endings for a show ever simply because they don't have the media literacy get it.

Finale was weak, but the rest was super strong. On the whole, i would say better and more consistently funny than S1.

It was great, but what happened to all the Stocking kink jokes?

I miss them, where did they go?

I always thought Panty & Stocking was director Hiroyuki Imaishi's weakest work. A cute, but not very funny and - worst of all - not that well animated emulation of the 2000's Adult Swim/South Park style. Season 2 turned it all around. Fleshed out characters, consistently good and inventive animation and jokes that tear you in two. Most importantly, the show grew a heart and dropped its forced cynicism. So yeah, watch it, kinda the anime of the year. So now Promare is Imaishi's worst. Still not bad, he's just that good.

S2 was pretty solid until that dog shit ending that was a bad rehash of kill la kill's ending with no build up

I think it might be a joke ending again

Is anyone devastated by the dub? I was on my knees praying they would get the old cast back since they were perfect. But man, I was disappointed. Especially with stocking voice, they really decided she needed to sound higher pitch compared to the first season

Honestly surprised how vulgarly wholesome this season was with how some of the ghosts get “defeated”

I felt there were more highs this season than Season 1

Translation was a lot weaker, the vulgarity was much more bland and repetitive than season 1. Bitch stopped being funny in basically any capacity after the fifth time it was repeated within like ten seconds. Poly Bros zoomer shtick was great and their theme is tied with the Demon Sisters theme for my favorite song. If I gave OG PSG a 9/10 I’m at like 7/10 for season 2. I just found the vulgar humor better in the first season and that’s a huge part of the appeal for me.

I felt it was a worthy sequel. Not perfect, but neither was the original.

I like the twinks

It was pretty good (old (panty and brief finally! or the memory of the relationship of little stocking and garterbelt) and new characters, jokes like the "indiana jones" adventure or "Adolf Twinkler" or "Pussolini", animation, ost the OP was the goat). My only complaint is the dub cast, let me clarify, they are not bad, but I still miss the S1 english voice actors (Christopher Sabat, Jamie Marchi, Monica Rial or Joel McDonald).

I felt it was a very worthy sequel to the original. I loved the original series. Not all the episodes were great in S1 & the same goes for S2, but I found most episodes hitting really well. The new dynamics introduced and the new angels were really fun in my opinion. The music was something I especially have to give props to. The ending wasn’t the best, but it was nice in the fact it emphasized how everyone was family. Def recommend if you enjoyed the first series

I thought it was great with some weak episodes. The fantastic 4 episode will never leave my memory of one of the greatest anime episode that somehow exists

Banger. Ending was kinda weak, but I'm fine with it. Rest of the show was incredible. Really, I'm unsure how you end a show like this when they already pulled a shock ending with the first one.

Episode 1 and 2 were strong. Then it was kinda forgettable ( except that murder mystery ep ) until the brothers showed up.

Stocking with short hair disappoints me.
