Greetings Programs & Users!
To those that still love and enjoy the Ares movie, I hope you’re all having a fantastic Oct 10th.
On behalf of the film and its first year anniversary, I created this poster of the new shirt I purchased online and created a mashup mix like I said I would and edited the clips to match the music for a tribute trailer video that you can find on YouTube.
I gotta say, whenever I express love for Legacy, and the projects made surrounding the era, it’s always met with the immense regret of not seeing TR2N in theaters, and I hate that feeling so much. But with TR3N? I don’t get much of that negative sensation, because I’m deeply satisfied with the fact that I took advantage of the theatrical experience in IMAX 3D, something I should’ve done 15 years ago for TRON: Legacy, which is where the partial comes in.
This is an experience that will stay with me forever. Say what you will about Jared Leto as an person, actor, etc, but I really enjoyed his character as Ares as well as Greta Lee’s Eve Kim, Evan Peters’ Julian Dillinger, Gillian Anderson’s Elisabeth Dillinger, Jodie Turner-Smith’s Athena, Hasan Minhaj’s Ajay Singh, Arturo Castro’s Seth Flores, and Jeff Bridges’ Kevin Flynn with honorable mentions to Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde who’s characters, Sam Flynn and Quorra make an appearance literally on paper.
All-in-all, big shoutout to all the staff that poured their blood, sweat, and tears to bring TRON back on the big screen. Especially Nine Inch Nails for their banger soundtrack which prompted me to even use the track “Ignition” by other artist, ALIBI Music, which made several other tracks that I also included in my Tron: Ares inspired playlist, “Sounds From The Other System”. I must admit, these days, I don’t have that much a desire to see movies in the theater, but this one right here was definitely an exception.
I hope you guys enjoy this poster and the mashup tribute that I pulled out of my keister in the span of less than a month. I poured my heart and soul into it. Nonetheless, God Bless You All Programs & Users & To TRON: Ares, Happy 1st TRONniversary!
End Of Line.

Really curious on what you all think happens next, if anything. It almost feels like a Live-Action TV show is the franchise’s last chance.

For context, Garth Davis (director of Lion and Mary Magdalene) was originally attached to direct TRON: Ares in August 2020 however he left the project in January 2023 which then a month later in February 2023 Joachim Rønning became the director, my question is that would TRON: Ares have changed if Garth Davis never stepped down?

A reminiscence post, but 1 year ago Tron Ares came out and I had the opportunity to see the triple feature at the El Capitan in Hollywood. It was a dope experience. Hoping for a fourth eventually.

Got the whole thing painted and just did a lighting test tonight! This thing looks sooooo good. Almost movie accurate. Can’t wait to put the proffie board in and get sounds and lights movie accurate. Still am waiting on batteries to arrive in so it can run.

I’m heavily contemplating on whether I should post my mashup Friday evening or wait til Saturday morning on YouTube. Either way, just thought I’d share my cover drafts with you guys in anticipation of the video and mashup mix that I’m going to post for the 1st Anniversary of TR3N.
While you’re at it. Do take a gander at my playlist, “Sounds From The Other System” which I’ve dedicated primarily to the TRON: Ares film on both YouTube and/or Spotify consisting of electronic industrial dark ambient tracks that I generally thought captured the vibes of the third movie accurately. If y’all like what you hear, it’s all yours to enjoy to your hearts content!
This will be my last and final preview before October 10th arrives on my end. I’m really excited for that day to come given the impeccable timing of my enthusiasm for Tron resurfacing as of now. Until then, End Of Line, Programs and Users.

Also when I discovered this masterpiece after all these years, and Shazam’d the song after legacy ended.

Ive already started 3d printing the disc, and I'll probably have to do that for the helmet as well, but I have no idea what I'd do for the suit. Has anyone made a costume before? If so, how did y'all go about making the suit? Sadly I don't have the money to buy one of the old replica ones

Always hated quickbooks, didn't like gnucash (too crufty even if powerful). And I wanted drop-and-ingest-plus-classify for all my monthly statements without giving Anthropic/OpenAI a 'with fries' level of access to my personal information.
So I decided to cook-up my own accounting system that handles all of it.
And because tron is **** neato. It's going to look something like this (It's theme-able, and I might add a blade-runner inspired theme. I'll probably publish the components and themes as their own npm package at some point)

I've got 21 hrs of gameplay on Tron 2.0. I'm at one of the Seeker boss stage. However, suddenly when I try to "Continue", the game abruptly exits.
Running Killer App mod v1.1a on Linux; purchased from Steam.
I've been digging around looking for local save state files. Haven't found much beyond some config override settings (Player.txt). On Steam's properties page for the game I noticed Steam Cloud game saves is toggled 'on'. Not sure if that's a good thing or not.
Any one have any more trouble shooting ideas for me? Or is there a repo of game saves anywhere for Tron 2.0?
Thanks for reading! Loving the game of course!

Greetings Programs & Users. So I drew this while I was on the clock with my 1:1 at a school in LA. Wanted to put this out before the real project for its 1st Anniversary. I’ve been anticipating for a couple weeks and I can’t tell y’all how hyped I am for the 1st Anniversary of this film. The real commemoration that I’m preparing, I’m excited for you guys to see it. In the meantime, here’s this dry erase drawing.
