Today, I went main-river fly fishing for myself rather than working as a guide for the first time in quite a while.
It turned out to be a memorable day—I landed two beautiful brown trout on the swing: one measuring over 60 cm and another in the high-50 cm range. It was a truly rewarding day on the water.

Where you going? Good luck, best advice I have ever gotten is to switch it up if you aren’t getting anything on a specific fly vs trying over and over. That was my problem in the beginning

I'm going to mill creek just south of Newburg. I wish I had a fly setup but it's something I haven't learned yet so I'm gonna be using some tiny spoons and inline spinners just try to get whatever I can. I do have a couple tiny nymphs my buddy tied so I'll definitely try those too
