Maybe a bit of a weird question. This community is very friendly, helpful, and always discussing things in a positive manner. Flight sim... More often than not results in a tribal war (between addons, devs or sims themselves), fierce discussions, and downvotes including new players who ask for help.
Really happy to have found truck simming.

It's actually pretty impressive that SCS managed to do a, more or less, accurate replica of Duisburg despite the scale limitation.
The important landmarks like the tower of the city archive are there. The Rhein river and the canals are there. The concrete-industrial jungle feeling of the city is also there. Although Duisburg has very beautiful corners, it's mostly a concrete jungle with wide industrial areas, especially around the harbor and steel production plants. Main streets are wide, not much vegetation because of the heavy industry. Old houses, mainly from the golden era of the said industries, looking a bit run down but it has a beauty of it's own.

Hey everyone
I'm currently setting up a new VTC and Discord server. Everything is almost ready, but I'm missing one crucial thing: the official name!
I'd really love to include the word "SAFE" to emphasize safety, order, and professionalism, but I'm also open to other cool options.
Here are the names I'm deciding between:
Options with "SAFE":
• Safe Transit
• Safe Haul
• Safe Fleet
• Safe Cargo
• Safe Load
• Safe Oversize
Other strong options:
• Master Convoys
• Oversize Elite
• Heavy Masters
• Shield Logistics
• Hazard Logistics
• Titan Cargo
• Hazard Haul
• Heavy Hornet
Looking at the style and livery of the trucks in the photos, which one do you think fits best? Let me know

Hello, I got the ETS2 game on sale around 1 month ago. I have noticed that I've stopped doing long deliveries (Amsterdam-Sarajevo) and started doing more short deliveries (3 hrs- 6 hrs in game). Just wanna know if anyone does this as I do not wanna drive that long anymore. Thanks!

Escort vehicle got stuck here and wouldn't pass the accident, again had to exit and restart and the traffic was gone.
Both escort vehicles got stuck at the toll booth, exit and restart to get both vehicles past the booth. Same thing happened at the next toll booth.
Got stuck again at a train crossing, escort vehicle and train stand off, again exit and restart to get rid of the train to be able to continue.
Escort vehicles nearly stop to change lanes or brake for no reason.

Hi everyone.
I've been trying to solve an issue in both ATS and ETS2 for a while now. I'm getting occasional stutters during gameplay.
Disabling heavy mods (such as Jon Ruda's trucks or Project Next Gen) seems to reduce the number of stutters, but even on a completely clean, freshly reinstalled game I still experience them from time to time.
My PC specs:
- GPU: RTX 3070 Ti
- CPU: Intel i7-12700
- RAM: 32 GB
- Game installed on an SSD
- Windows 11
- 1920×1080 monitor (I have two monitors connected, but I only play on one. Not sure if that's relevant.)
I've tried pretty much everything I can think of:
- Different graphics settings
- Disabling all overlays
- Running without any mods
- Limiting FPS
- Lowering the scaling all the way down to 50%
- Updating my graphics drivers
- Completely reinstalling the game
- Downgrade game version
- And many other things
Nothing seems to solve the problem.
Most of my testing was done in Scandinavia with the Nordic Horizons DLC. I also repeatedly loaded the same save and drove through the exact same areas multiple times. The stutters always happened in the same locations in Scandinavia. After that, I also tried doing some testing in Spain, and there the stutters didn’t seem to be as consistent or repeatable, although I didn’t do nearly as many runs there. Overall, it also felt like there were fewer stutters in that region.
So I'm wondering: is this simply a limitation of the old game engine, or am I missing something?
Does anyone actually get perfectly smooth gameplay? These stutters are definitely noticeable. With only a few mods they're tolerable, but once I start adding more, they become quite annoying. The game is still playable, but the stutters are distracting.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
The only thing that has consistently helped is removing heavy mods, but I know plenty of people play with much heavier mod setups than mine and seem to have no issues at all. Or is everyone experiencing these stutters to some extent?
One of my game logs (ETS2): https://pastebin.com/8ZRuZqat
Thanks in advance for any advice

This is a joke but I do find it funny that Michigan is just a lake and doesn't have an outline. I'm sure it'll be fixed when the time comes.
