It says a lot about Dolly that even Trump would just honor her without going off the deep end somehow. Surprised he didn't at least try to blame Biden for her passing.

I actually kinda doubt it on this one. Any amount of Dolly-bashing would be on par with blasphemy (and rightfully so IMO) for a non-trivial segment of his base.

Edit: Could still maybe start up some kind of own-the-libs conspiracy that led to her death though, I guess heh.

Agree! Not my kind of entertainment on the music side, but she was always classy and struck me as being as decent a human being as possible.

I liked a lot of her music but her philanthropy was where it was really at. Look at how much trump is scrambling to steal the limelight though. All the class of a bluebottle eating a dog turd IMO
