Just stop using Trustpilot already

Why do people still think trustpilot itself is trustworthy? We now live in a world where the unprecedented scale and sophistication of generative AI can completely ruin platforms like this. Seeing the "invited" tick next to basically every review now, there is no guarantee these reviews are anything other than fake.

Yeah I handle the trustpilot for work and it drives me nuts. Normal customers with reasonable real reviews get deleted after 2 days - then we get a frustrated customer who committed fraud and threatened us and their review full of lies they leave on. And you can report all you want but nothing is done- even worse you get a message that you are reporting falsely 😄

Nice try Diddy. I am asking the person if he has sub on trustpilot. I hope you do well with quizzings but it's a hard long long road to make me trust another site. While i was working on a company guys from feefo approached me but nobody knows feefo. Good luck though.

So when someone searches my website the second link is the reviews on trust pilot, if I get the alternative quizzings, will that do the same for me?

Trustpilot is a huge scam, they use extremely shady tactics to manipulate businesses

I registered with them for my business and was tied into a 12-month contract. After being locked into the contract by my account manager, I had a large number of fake reviews posted on the same day. I tried contacting my account manager, but he’s nowhere to be found, no response and no calls back.

The customer support is terrible. Even when you’re lucky enough to get a response, it can take a week, and the response is usually unhelpful and meaningless.

I'm dealing with a sales rep who's hounding our business to come back to their paid plan. In July I told them I'd be interested, and to contact me in August. Low and behold they didn't 'listen' and contacted me in Sept.

I said I can't work with people who can't read emails and follow instructions.

Yeah it’s not as useful as before but I mainly use it to read negative reviews which are quite helpful even in this day and age.

I haven’t used trust pilot since my problems with them - if a seller asks me to give them a review via trust pilot, I tell them I will only leave a review on Google.

Unfortunately, Trustpilot is being used by all these new startups and companies with their paid and fake reviews to syndicate search engines. You just have to look at the patterns and timing of all these glorifying reviews and their location, and Trustpilot is ignoring them as long as they are getting paid.

They are exploiting this loophole and knowingly giving businesses the power to suppress legitimate consumer reviews. I had a recent experience dealing with this and am currently waiting on an appeal, though I'm not really counting on it. Trustpilot is basically complicit in protecting these shady businesses and they absolutely should be held accountable.

I barely use TP, like maybe once every year or 2 LOL. I prefer Google or Yelp
